. “When you ask/pray for Spiritual Guidance, be OPEN to the idea that it may not come in the form that meets your expectations/ideas; in fact, while in it’s process, it may feel like the COUNTER is happening. Stick with it. TRUST the process. The wisdom of the Divine does not operate within the bounds of our understanding, but it DOES operate with the bounds of our highest good."
Have you asked for guidance/prayed for some sort of outcome already today? It’s common nature, and I believe the start of a rich spiritual dialogue with the God of your understanding…it’s just missing a step: SURRENDER of YOUR idea of the perfect outcome, to that of the Universe. In yoga we call this ishvara pranhidana; it is mentioned multiple times in the Yoga Sutras and means “spiritual surrender” or surrendering the fruits of our actions and the outcome of any creation to Divine will. Our small selves (body/mind/ego) are BIG FANS of predicting the future/control/rigidity (“I want X to happen and it would be best if it happened at X time because that works best for me”). Sound familiar? Oh yeah! The point isn’t to get mad at/disown the body/mind/ego; we need them dearly to be in this world, and honestly, they are only trying to protect us. The trouble is that THEIR knowledge is limited to experience and often outdated habit whereas Divine wisdom can see ALL the possibilities and ALL their effects and HANDPICKS the one that will serve our highest good; our greatest spiritual lesson. How amazing is that!? How could we ever TOP that? We couldn’t. So pray; ask for guidance; then surrender, trust, and open the window of your heart to allow your Divine purpose to manifest.
With Love and Surrender,
